ezPower / Voids not being deducted in Z out
« on: May 18, 2016, 01:07:12 AM »
G'day. I'm using eZPos 13 and have noticed that when a sale is voided, it is not deducted from the Z-out or the Daily Summary. Some other reports are not accurate. Is there a fix for these?

Thanks

Hi Ronald,

I am still having this same issue try to install on a register. I have uninstalled and reinstalled on numerous occasions, deleting the DR13 folder etc. When it asks for the file location I point it to the ezp folder within the DR13 folder on the server and I still get generic exception and then it shuts down. The server is XP pro, the register win7 I have tried with other workstations using XP Pro but have the same problem. What else do you suggest I try? Thanks.

Hi Ronald, I am still having no luck with this. I try to run Ezpos13 and it allows me to choose a workstation number and allows me to point it at the server folder on the network, which is the DR13 folder, but I still get the same message, other version 11.00 etc. Any more ideas?

Thanks Ronald. We used to have version 11 and updated to version 13. I can not find any trace of version 11 on the network, but can't remember the name or the location of the shared folder in that version. Can you remind me? Many thanks.

Hi, One of my client computers crashed, and I replaced it with a new one, with Win7 loaded. Now I load Ezpos13 no problem but when I try to run the program I get "File Version Incompatible. Other Version 11.00 This Version 13.00. Do Not Mix Files of Different Versions." After clicking OK/Close, I get the Generic Exception window then the program closes. The version on the server is EZPOS13, running on XP. Any ideas? Many thanks.

Is it possible to get a sales report for a month, broken down into daily sales?

Thanks

Good day again Ronald,

Yet another problem if you could assist, this time with printing a receipt. I have set the setting to have no line feeds, however my recepits are printing out very long. I am currently using the same printer for kitchen and receit, but is feeding about  25cm of roll through after printing each one. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Darren

« on: March 22, 2011, 05:29:18 AM »
Thank Ronald. I did manage by making an additional stock item, and then creating a sellable service item. For example 1/4 chicken stock item, and then 1/4 chicken sellable item, with the original 1/4 chicken in the build kit in order to control stock, then I attach a modifier to the sellable item. Then I can build others, for example Half Chicken using 2 quarters in the build, that wont be printed, but I can modify the half on its own. Does that make sense? Anyway it works, thanks.

ezPower / Printing Modifiers
« on: March 20, 2011, 11:59:46 PM »
Hi Ronald,

I have come across another problem now. I have set up the system to print modifiers. I works fine when I sell certain items. However when I use build from parts, it shows me the modifier options, but does not print them. I have checked the relevant boxes but can not get it to do what I want. When I manage to get it to print, it prints all the parts and modifiers, instead of just the modifier. For example we sell a chicken burger. This is made up of parts bread roll and chicken breast. This asks for a modifier of which sauce you would like with it, and prints perfectly. We have another option where one can buy a chicken burger meal. This is made up of parts, chicken burger, chips, salad and juice. In order for me to get the system to print the sauce, it also has to print all of the parts, bread roll, chicken breast etc which I obviously dont want. Is there a way around this?

Thanks,

Darren

Yes I understand that, but it would not work in US format. Only when I changed it to UK format. Anyways no worries its sorted now thanks.

Hi Ronald, Just to report back.... When you mentioned update, I downloaded a version from your website, but still had the same problems. I then went into Region & Language settings ( I am using W7 Pro) to check that they were as I thought. They were, with decimal places set to 2. As an experiment, I changed from the English US Format to English UK Format. Now that seems to have done the trick. Any idea why? Thanks for your help, I will still apprecate the update. Cheers, Darren.

I will do that thanks Ronald. We have been using it as a stand alone system. We made a half-hearted effort to get it networked but gave up after a couple of attempts. Now we need more workstations up and running, so I am trying to set everything up again, with new prices, new menus etc, on a new server, so when we are ready we can go live straight away. Many thanks for your help.Regards,Darren
