ezPower / Printing a sale after its been closed out
« on: June 07, 2018, 04:54:25 AM »
At a drive thru a customer will start to drive off and the cashier thinks "this sale is done and close out the sale" back to the sales screen. Then the customer stops and says I need a receipt. Now what? We can go down to the right hand bottom of the screen where the sales are listed and bring up the sale but we can't print it. Is there some way that we can print out a closed sale for the customer?

It's on left side of the sale's screen. It says select cashier... It always worked before. I don't have any idea what F number it is.

The icon on the side of the sales page is NOT showing the cashier. We don't know who is logged in to make sales.

ezPower / alphabetize products
« on: August 28, 2017, 05:15:58 AM »
I'm not sure I understand that when we alphabetize the products it only shows up in the sales screen?? I just got 8 pages from a beer supplier with price changes. It would be GREAT if when I bring up a supplier list of products they were alphabetized. It would save soooo much time.

ezPower / Change register number

Had to change out one of my POS and the register number is the same as my back office one. How do I change the register number on a POS?

ezPower / Change button labels on finish sale screen
« on: April 21, 2017, 01:50:36 AM »
There have been quite a few times that an employee will "accidentally hit cash button" when finishing a sale when it was a visa credit card sale. Once the cash button is hit the sale goes thru and we have no money for the sale. Is there a way to switch the F1 and the F5 button? That way even if they hit the wrong credit card button we still make a credit card sale?

If you put ALL your lottery products under the (department) of (lottery) it will show up on the sales screen. If you have a touch screen this makes it very easy and quick to do lottery sales.

Depending on sales we might order 1 one day, then at the end of the week we might need 5.Where I would like to see that info is in the list all by supplier.
I did the update that they sent me for the list all. I'm down to 2 pages instead of three. I still appreciate the help.

See if it happens when somebody runs a credit card...  That has happened to us with credit cards but not all of them.

We sell lottery tickets also. What I did was make up a product --Keno for $1. Then for THAT product I scan the barcode into the POS under the upc code box. Go back to sales screen and scan the code and it comes up Keno   $1.00 no tax I had to do that for ALL the different lottery products. Once it is in the system its easy to put new one's in when the lottery comes up with something new.

Was wondering what Ver. you are using?  If you import files into the back office one in Ver.14 it goes right to the Main POS. Was also wondering how many products you have?

On the product edit page there is a supplier Item #1 box it is not a drop down box. When we order cigs the supplier has a number that they use to make orders by. We put that number in the supplier item #1 box. My question is how can I see that number in the list that I export to excel?

OK I went to products- list ALL -exported to file- and page 2 and page 3 were missing in excel. So when I export the list I have to go More products and export those items and then again for the 3rd page. That was my question as to WHY are not all the product on ONE page so I can export 1 page and convert it in Excell instead of 3 pages in order to get my FULL inventory
