ezPower / Re: Asking for Password for "general settings" on startup
« on: December 24, 2020, 09:21:47 AM »
I don't want it to ASK for a password and certainly don't want it to open up if I set it to "no password requierd".  This is a relatively new problem.

ezPower / Asking for Password for "general settings" on startup
« on: December 02, 2020, 12:10:14 PM »
When startup each day, the program asks for the password for the "general settings"  How do I turn this off so it does not make this request?

ezPower / Z-out via remote just as printed on paper
« on: July 03, 2020, 06:25:49 PM »
Is it possible to see the Z-out remotely just as you would when it is printed out--including the reconciliation errors; meaning when the drawers doesn't balance.  On the email and cloud version, I only see sales and cash but cannot spot reconciliation errors without seeing the paper version.

Is the information above about setting up your gmail account still correct?  Can't seem to get this setup to work sending email/remote reports.

How can EZ Pos support multiple store locations?

ezPower / Email Report of Z-out different from printed report
« on: March 28, 2013, 12:57:24 PM »
On my printed Z-out it shows "recorded payments" section with all the individual totals (cash, visa, etc)  But on the email report of the same is shows 'recorded payments" total 0.00 each day.

Also the reports show a payout but doesn't print what it was for.

Why and/or how?

ezPower / Employee access to Label Printing function

Is there a way to allow employees to print product labels without having full access to "product control"? Just allow the print label function.

ezPower / Re: Using POS to make price labels for products

uploaded new program and now the * stays in place on all machines.  Changed setup in Dymo Labelwriter printer and now the label set up looks right.  I Go to product label layout and enter UPC as label and check barcode font and choose Free 3 of 9 regular.  Barcode is 27210.  Prints on label on both Dymo printers at Different stations.  Looks good but doesn't scan.

Checked scanner with barcode printed on package--works.  Determined not scanner problem but print problem.  Double checked * still in place..hmmm

What am I missing?

ezPower / Re: Report of Modifiers

Reports/Products/Group Sales....the options are date, department, category, supplier.  then there are the check boxes--size, color, binding, edition.  Am I in the right report.  I use another modifier than those.

I don't see Staff working as we occasionally have more than one guide per ticket (unless I'm missing something here).

I used the Modifiers to designate which instructor provided the tour.  Is there a way to do a report on Modifiers.  Right now, I have to press 'Find Sale' and look at each ticket, print the tickets that apply, and compile a report for the instructor.  You must have a better way.

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE! :)  I have been using EZ Pos since October 2006 and never had a crash or problem that couldn't be resolved by email.  It has many more features than I'll ever be able to use (although I probably should).  I have, over the years, looked at many other POS programs specific to the diving industry, but none (for the money or convenience) compare.  Thanks Ron.

No error messages of any kind.  Just won't keep the * in that box and thus, I think, won't print the barcodes on the lables correctly.

I'm putting the * in the stop character field and closing.  But when I go back, the * is not there.  Its the same with all three registered.  None will keep it.   Should something else be checked there?

My barcodes are printing on the price label (using print product labels) but the hand scanner will not read them.  The scanner WILL read the barcodes that are already on the products though.  I am using the 3 of 9 font in the setup.  Where am I going wrong?

Is there a way to require a customer name for a single product that is sold (not rented)?
