Title: Recovering Old Inventory/Stock List

Is it possible to recover an older (1 month or more) inventory/stock list?
I recently discontinued an assortment of items and prematurely zeroed their stock status. I need to find out if I can recover their stock status before I did this in order to determine the value of deleted stock for tax purposes.
Can I restore a backup to a different computer that is not the server so as to not upset the system? Or is there another possible solution?
Please advise

I believe you can.  Open the Reports and use the Inventory / History and Trace.  Click on the date you want.
