Title: How to zero out the sales database
Post by: abcafe on May 14, 2014, 07:04:16 AM
Hello,

I am using the restaurant POS.   I need to clear the sales database and start collecting data anew, but retain all settings in the register.  What is the procedure for this?

Thanks,

Greg

Open the Sales / Sales Control.  Use the menu File / Delete All Sales.

Hmm, that is different from the procedure I vaguely remember from several years ago.  I recall having to delete one (or more?)  .ezp files.   After doing that, restart of the POS generated blank database file(s), then I was off to the races.

Does that ring a bell?

Deleting files will work but it's not necessary to do it that way, not in this case.
