Hi knightline, I hope this helps, I actually had no idea this option existed till I tried it for my self after your question.

1. The easiest way is to Select one of the sales for the customer that you want to apply the payments to (Either from the list on the sales screen or by finding the sale in Find Sale)

2. Than click on Payment with a (Red +) sign (Advanced Payment)

3. Find the X on the screen (left hand side near Record#) Under X Select the sales you want the payment to be applied to (if you click in the right area you will see a X appear.

4. Selected Total will be shown on bottom.

5. Press New Payment button on right side

6. Select one of the payment methods (Cash VISA etc...)

7. Type the amount and press OK, you will be probably prompted to print a payment receipt.

8. You will see a payment in unused payment section and a new button (Apply Payment) press this key and the sales that you had selected in step 3 with a X will now be All Paid.

In Windows XP:
Start / All Programs / Accessories / Accessibility / On-Screen Keyboard
You can minimise this keyboard and use it when ever you need it.

Windows 8:
Touch Keyboard logo/icon can be found next to Date and Time on bottom of the screen, you can always click the logo/icon and brings up a nice large keyboard.

Or you can also go to Search on the right hand side in Windows 8/Desktop and search Keyboard.

WOW, Thats great news, I am so happy, Can't wait to have this option up and working.

I have already signed up with https://www.smsbroadcast.com.au and purchased 500 SMS, once I know it is going ahead I will purchase more SMS through them.

Let me know when you are ready and if you need more details, I am happy to help on this project.

ezPower / SMS Service
« on: May 20, 2013, 10:07:50 PM »
Hi Ronald

I need a SMS service added to the POS, I have a developer who says he can do the SMS service but doesn't understand how to link
the ez-Power POS to the SMS service.

Is there a way to link an external app ro read the POS to send a SMS on users request.
Or is it easier if you do it and charge me for it.

I am based in Australia.

This is how I want it to work.
We use this POS as a service, similar to Drycleaning service.
1. When jobs are ready
2. User scans the receipt and selects this (extra button that I need to say jobs is done)

3. The POS grabs the phone number and sends it to this app that send a SMS to the customer to say
their job is ready for collection (or if you have any ideas please let me know).

ezPower / Re: Username and password to login as a barcode
« on: January 04, 2013, 06:38:32 PM »
This way you can use the same Barcode to Login as you would login
and use it to Clock in and Out as well, where is the first way only
lets you use it as Clock in and Out only as User name and Password are different.

Please let me know if there is a better way or anybody has found a better way.

I forgot to mention:  :D :D
It means you have to change each employees login and password to be same

Never mind, I found a way with using barcode system to do that.

Here is how I done it:

USER~009PASSWORD   (With No spaces)
example: Arya~0098875 (Arya being User ID and 8875 is Password)

~009 is the code for tab (thats zeros in the code)

I used the following website to create the barcode.
http://www.bcgen.com/linear-barcode-creator.html
Print it and you are set to go.

It will type: Arya and tab and type 8875 and Enter

I had to modify the user ID and Password so I can also use to login with the same barcode
To do that you have to make sure the user ID and password are the same:

8878~0098875
or Arya~009Arya

This way you can use the same Barcode to Login as you would login
and use it to Clock in and Out as well, where is the first way only
lets you use it as Clock in and Out only as User name and Password are different.

Please let me know if there is a better way or anybody has found a better way.

Hi Ronald

Happy New Year

I Can not find the way, how to encode the TAB between
username and password in to the barcode world.

I am using the Free 3 of 9 Extended font

Something like *ABC TAB 123*

Thanks

ezPower / Edit Customer Window
« on: September 02, 2011, 02:34:57 PM »
Hi

Lately I don't get the Edit Customer Window, do you know how to active it again.

Lets say repeating customer comes in and as soon as I click it, it goes directly to sale window, it doesn't bring the edit customer window!
New Customers are ok, it brings the screen that I am after to fill in all the boxes, but not for old customers.

ezPower / Re: Remote reports
« on: July 27, 2011, 03:10:08 AM »
Well it happened two days in a row, I don't think its the internet, it can't be happening two days in a row.
yesterday in one shop I pressed send Email Report manually from the menu (today I got the report automatically).
the other shop however I didn't do anything hoping it will send the email today (this shop didn't send the report).

I think the setting needs to be saved again, maybe the setting gets disturbed by something else, and it forgets it needs to send email at certain time.

ezPower / Remote reports
« on: July 26, 2011, 02:40:23 PM »
Hi
I have set the remote report in our stores, it's set to send email of our activity at 1700. But sometimes it sends it around 1729, sometimes sharp on time and sometimes it never arrives.

I have done this on two stores and they both have two separate Internet connections.
Yesterday I noticed again both computers didn't send the report at all, we had to send it manually.
We don't turn off the computer till after 1730. So POS has that 30 minutes gap to send this report basically.

Any suggestions.
