Title: Rounding prices up or down in Canada
Post by: hhunter44 on February 14, 2013, 06:59:36 PM
As of 2 weeks ago the Canadian gov't discontinued production of the penny. Therefore, we must round the total sale price up or down to the nearest nickel. Is there a setting in EZ that will do this automatically? If we forget to do the rounding our daily report is way out of whack. i.e Total sale = $1.34  we should ring up and charge the customer $1.35.

Thanks,
Hugh

Open the Settings / Tax & Precision and enter 0.05 in the Round Cash Sales field.
