Title: a lot od data after 3 year

Hi
after 3 year, the database has got a lot of data now, how can i take away the data from the first to years for example and save them as backup

You can't divide the database.  The only option would be to copy it and then clear the sales.

How to go about doing that ? Just backup as per normal and delete all sales after that ?

I would copy the "ezp" folder.  That is were all the data is stored.  You can see where the ezp is located in the Help window.  At the bottom of the window is a path to the ezp.
