ezPower / Add-On Quantities, can you adjust them?
« on: June 01, 2011, 11:24:20 AM »
Rocco's Italian Market and Deli on v. 13.429 sending in a question.

When we sell sandwiches, a customer can add a meat or cheese for an extra charge.  We track inventory quantities to the tenth since we sell by the pound.  When an Add-on is chosen, it subtracts 1.0 pounds from inventory which is in error.  I did a work-around by creating a kit for the correct quantity and the kit is the add-on.  Is there a way to do it directly through the add-on module?

ezPower / Taxed and not taxed, that is the question
« on: May 25, 2011, 10:30:23 AM »
Hey there,  Rocco's Italian Market and Deli on v. 13.429 sending in a question.

In California(for deli's), a cold sandwich or coffee sold for take-out or delivery is not taxable.  If it is eaten in the deli, then it is taxable.  Most of our business is take-out and delivery.  Is there an automated way for the POS to recognize items as taxable when take-out or delivery is not selected?

Right now, I have those products set up as taxable then I choose Options > Tax Exempt1 to not charge tax.  Is there an automated way to avoid this extra step?

Thanks for your help.

ezPower / Payroll Report
« on: May 06, 2011, 09:23:24 AM »
The payroll report calculates hours worked to 3 decimal places.  Is there a way to make it round to only 1 or 2 decimal places?  Right now, I save the file and then adjust myself.  Any help is appreciated.

ezPower / Can POS do price per lb.
« on: April 27, 2011, 06:50:07 AM »
I sell meats and cheeses by the pound or portions thereof.  I post my prices in $ per lb.  Will the POS allow me to put in a price by the pound then sell 0.6 lbs.?  I couldn't find a way to do it so I made my UOM the ounce.  It works but is confusing to the customer when they look at their receipt and see qty 8 (oz.) instead of 1/2 lb.

Any help is appreciated.
