Hi Ronald,
In Tax & Precision I am able to change decimal places for quantity, but not for extended column, thus all my prices are round up to the mearest $ with no decimal places. How can I change this?
Thanks,
Darren

The currency format is set by the Windows OS. Use the Windows, Control Panel / Regional & Language Options to set your currency format, date format, and currency symbol.

Thanks Ronald,
I have checked currency,it is all set to 2 decimal places, still same problem. Anything else I can check?

Hmm, in the Tax window the "Round Cash Sales" should be set to 0.01
-
Thanks for your persistence Ronald, but still no joy here. I set the "Round Cash Sales" to 0.01 and still the same. When I go back to the tax and precision setup, it has changed back to 0 with no .01. If I put in any whole number, it accepts and saves, but the extend column remains with no decimals. I have done a complete uninstall and reinstall with no luck, however when I try to set up on another computer, I have no prolems. Any more ideas? Many thanks, Darren

You are saying the "Round Cash Sales" will not stay at 0.01?
What is your business name?
-
Yes, "Round Cash Sales" will not stay at 0.01 it resets itself to 0. Business name is African Leisure. Thanks Ronald.

OK, it helps to know when you are using an old version. I'm curious to know how is it that you've been using this for 2 years without this problem? I can send you an update. Send me an email at Support@DenverResearch.com.

I will do that thanks Ronald. We have been using it as a stand alone system. We made a half-hearted effort to get it networked but gave up after a couple of attempts. Now we need more workstations up and running, so I am trying to set everything up again, with new prices, new menus etc, on a new server, so when we are ready we can go live straight away. Many thanks for your help.Regards,Darren

Hi Ronald, Just to report back.... When you mentioned update, I downloaded a version from your website, but still had the same problems. I then went into Region & Language settings ( I am using W7 Pro) to check that they were as I thought. They were, with decimal places set to 2. As an experiment, I changed from the English US Format to English UK Format. Now that seems to have done the trick. Any idea why? Thanks for your help, I will still apprecate the update. Cheers, Darren.

The curency format is controled by Windows.

Yes I understand that, but it would not work in US format. Only when I changed it to UK format. Anyways no worries its sorted now thanks.
